How the Election Admin Suite counts visits to its sites, and what it doesn't do.
What we count
We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are opened, roughly where from (country or region), on what kind of device and browser, and how people found the site. This tells us which tools and guides are used, so we know what to improve.
Cookies
Google Analytics stores small cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies. Signing in to your account uses its own cookie, which only keeps you signed in.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads, and we don't sell or share visit information for advertising.
- We don't count visits on screens that show people's personal information, such as your office's list of staff.
- We don't send the words, signs, lists or files you make in the tools to Google or Cloudflare analytics.
Turning it off
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (a privacy setting in some browsers and add-ons), our sites don't load Google Analytics at all. You can also block cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
